Joan Sherman Ervin displayed five complete ensembles of woven and quilted fabric, all done by hand, at a major exhibition of wearable art presented by The Alliance of the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Her ensembles were part of a three day juried exhibit of the work of 19 Indiana women. This photograph was featured on page 14 of the Spring 1985 issue of The Key.
