Dr. Carrie Banning graduated from the University of Wisconsin as one of the first class of women allowed to study high mathematics, then went on to become a medical doctor, an active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and a campaigner for the Republican Party. This photograph was featured in the April 1938 issue of The Key.
