John Singer Sargent Self-portrait at Uffizi Gallery Photograph, 1906


John Singer Sargent was a well known American painter, who painted a self-portrait among his other works. Kappa donated Sargent's landscape "A Winding Road and Cypress Trees, San Vigilio" to Monmouth College to celebrate the Fraternity's centennial. The photograph of Sargent's self-portrait was featured in the Fall 1970 issue of The Key on page 24.
