Marjorie Goody was the seventh highest scholar at San Jose State University for the 1948-1949 year, with a grade point average of 2.8736. She was also a member of Spartan Spear (sophomore women's honorary society), Delta Chi Chapter's pledge chairman, and the first to received Delta Chi's scholarship award.
