Nelly Jouanin Being Weighed Photograph, 1946-1952


Nellie Jouanin is weighed by Mlle. de Fecquelmont of the Paris office of the Sef. Nellie's mother and two brothers were killed in a shelter by a bomb during World War II. From 1946-1952, the Dorothy Canfield Fisher French Relief Project of Kappa Kappa Gamma provided aid to French children affected by World War II. This photograph appeared on page 269 of the December 1948 issue of The Key.
