Barbara Roe Kasperek and Marian Harper admire baby Morgan Kasperek as her brother David holds a cross-stitch recording the names and dates of birth of all Gamma Iota Advisory Board babies to use the cradle Morgan is sitting in. The unintentional tradition of advisory board babies using this cradle began in 1973 when Marian Harper loaned the cradle to Elizabeth Farmer Schwartz. From 1973 to 1984, 13 Gamma Iota Advisory Board babies have used the cradle. This photograph and a story about the cradle tradition was featured on pg. 54 of the Summer 1984 issue of The Key.
