The Gamma Alpha chapter Kappa Pickers won first place in the Dutch Maid Supermarket Bluegrass contest in 1973. The prize was a $50 savings bond for the chapter, albums for the group members, and a public concert at the supermarket the following weekend. This photograph was featured on pg. 47 of the Spring 1974 issue and on pg. 100 of the Fall 1975 issue of The Key.
