Beta Tau Chapter Members Planting Memorial Iris Garden Photograph, October 1, 1989

Six Beta Tau chapter members pose together after planting a memorial garden in front of their chapter house. The Memorial Iris Garden was inspired by tragedies affecting chapter members in the previous year, including the death of chapter member Amy Shapiro in the explosion of Pan Am flight 103. The garden is meant to serve as a memorial for Beta Taus and loved ones of chapter members who have died. This photograph was featured on page 33 of the Summer 1990 issue of The Key.
