University of Texas President Stephen Spurr and Coach Darrell Royal start the "Run for Their Lives" marathon, a fundraising event held in cooperation with the Kappa Kappa Gammas of the Universities of Texas and Oklahoma and the Cotton Bowl to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
