On Alumnae Day in 1952, Jessie Lippincott Colson and Dr. John Percy Moore stand on the steps of the old Biological Hall on the University of Pennsylvania campus in the same places they stood in a photograph of the Beta Alpha Chapter founders taken in 1890. Dr. Moore had been married Kathleen Carter Moore, another charter member of Beta Alpha. It is reported that Colson remarked, "I wouldn't have known you," and Moore replied, "I would have known you anywhere."
