Living Room at Panhellenic House at Boston University Photograph

The living room used by Phi Chapter and other Boston University sororities at Panhellenic House at 131 Commonwealth Avenue. During the Great Depression, sororities at Boston University were no longer able to rent apartments, so alumnae from a number of women's Greek-letter groups rented a house from the University at 131 Commonwealth Avenue for the use of their chapters. The chapters would use this house until the 1960s.
