Participants at the Fancy Dress Ball, or Fancy Dress Party, at the 1914 National Convention pose together. Kappas wore coordinated costumes by chapter to Ball. The first individual prize went to Mrs. Collins, from Theta Chapter, who represented a cubist portrait, dressed in stiff boards of post-impressionist colors. This image was featured on pages 254 of The Key, October 1914.
