The quartet who were largely responsible for the success of the 1954 National Convention pose together on their way to meet convention attendees. They are: Virginia Alexander McMillen, assistant to the chairman, Mr. W. B. Cornforth, manager of the Jasper Park Lodge, Curtis Buehler, assistant to the chairman, and Mariam Handy Anderson, convention chairman. This photograph was featured on page 82 of the October 1954 issue of The Key.
