Mrs. Alfred Watt of Victoria, British Columbia, relaxes in a deck chair during the 1936 National Convention. Watt was the president of the Associated Country Women of the World, and her speech at Sunday dinner focused on the necessity of goodwill during times of war. She advocated for the education of women, and cooperation between women of different nations. This photograph was featured on page 259 of The Key, October 1936.
