Ruth Johnson Holden is the cofounder of Phonic Ear, Inc. Ruth designed hearing instruments and FM systems for hearing impaired children. She poses with Tara Owens, a hearing-impaired student, who is modeling the Phonic Ear. Ruth was also elected to the board of trustees of the Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf in Washington, DC.
