Former U.S. President Herbert Hoover viewed a bronze bust of himself during the dedication of the Hoover Institution Library on War, Revolution and Peace. The bust was sculpted by Haig Patigan and presented to President Hoover by Gertrude Martin Gregory, in memory of her husband, who was a Stanford trustee and a close friend of President Hoover. This photograph was featured on page 205 of the October 1941 issue of The Key.
