Phyllis and Paul Galanti sit in the back of a convertible as it arrives at the Virginia State Capitol while crowds are held back by police officers. Paul was a Prisoner of War in Vietnam from 1966-1973 and Phyllis devoted almost total effort to the release of POWs and accounting for MIAs, during the time he was a prisoner. Galanti served as Chairman of the Board of the National League of Families of American Prisoners and Missing in Southeast Asia and won the Alumnae Achievement Award in 1974. This photograph was featured on page 11 of the Summer 1973 issue of The Key.
