Lois Lloyd with one of the children from her nursery school. Lloyd founded a program for children with learning disabilities in her basement in the 1950s that would eventually become the North Shore Association for Retarded Children, now known as Shore Community Services. She received the Alumnae Achievement Award in 1974.
