Chapter Letters: Iota - Depauw University, December 1886

The Iota chapter letter notes that more students entered DePauw University in September than ever before in the institution's history. New members from the class have raised Iota's numbers to 21. On October 13th, Iota celebrated Founders' Day at the home of Rosa Marquis by singing Kappa songs, hearing letters from absent sisters, and toasting kappa subjects along with gentlemen friends. Mrs. Livermore is scheduled to give a lecture at DePauw, after which she will be hosted. Iota has received a large number of visitors, and two of her own members have been married. The chapter has resolved to travel to the 1888 convention en mass, inspired by the details of the 1886 convention.
