Chapter Letters: Beta - St. Lawrence University, June 1887

The Kappas of St. Lawrence University are isolated, as St. Lawrence University is the only college in northern New York. The University's Theological School attracts student from all across the country, and the College of Letters and Science is competitive, and opened its doors to women at its foundation. Most students take regular classical or scientific courses, both of which require three years of mathematics. The majority of students live among families in the town, as the dorms are limited. There are two terms to the year, with notable breaks for Tree Holiday and Field Day. The fraternities on campus get along swell.
