Debbie Wright, who is pictured with the article, recently won the 1972 Maid of Cotton pageant. Two other Kappas, Cathy Stratemeyer and Pamelia Vennerberg were among the top ten in the competition. Stratemeyer was named Maid of Cotton for the Southwest, and Vennerberg has been named Miss Oklahoma 1972.
