Celebration of 100 Years: Philadelphia


166 Kappas gathered in Philadelphia to celebrate the Centennial Founders' Day on October 13, 1970. Joining them were alumnae associations from Wilmington, Delaware, Princeton, New Jersey, Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, and the Southern New Jersey Association along with distinguished guests from the University of Pennsylvania. 50 Year pins were awarded, and each Kappa received a small child's crested pin dish as favors. Dr. Doris M. Seward was the keynote speaker, and former Grand President Rheva Ott Shylock presented the Centennial Scholarship recipient Nancy Lee Fitzgerald.
