Are Greeks Still Strong?: An Alumna Responds

A letter to the editor of The Washington Star by Kappa Centennial Chairman Anne Harter responds to a prior editorial, which claimed the sorority system was on its way out. Harter argues that the author made an incorrect claim. In fact, the goals of Greek letter groups are of leadership, scholarship, and service, and the fraternity will fail only when its members do. She also provides statistics to prove that Greek life has grown across American campuses in recent years.
