The Key cover for Winter 1971 features an illustration of the National Rehabilitation Association Organizational Award in blue and gold. The award was presented to Kappa Kappa Gamma on October 12, 1971 at the NRA National Convention in Chicago. The NRA annually honors, "an organization which . . . had demonstrated effective concern for the care, treatment, education, for rehabilitation of handicapped individuals." A full audience of NRA members saw NRA president Richard D. Burk, M.D. present the award to Fraternity President Louise Barbeck.
