To Live and Act and Serve the Future Hour

This article is an adaptation of the speech given by former Fraternity President Helen Snyder Andres at the 1972 National Convention Candlelight Banquet. She describes how deeply the values and opportunities of the fraternity have affected the ways members conduct themselves throughout their lives. She believes that as women expand their career and life goals historical Kappa members can provide good examples of how collegiate women can grow with the time's changing values and do so with grace and femininity. This article includes a photograph of Andres holding one of the Ware candlesticks. The article continues on page 57.
