On the recommendation of actives and alumnae, the undergraduate council has been formed in order to improve communications, serve as an idea exchange, offer a young point of view, and generate a sense of unity within the fraternity. Each of the 16 provinces selected a representative, a chairman was appointed by the council, Jean Hess Wells, and the fraternity vice-president, was named advisor. The Key has published the portrait, name, chapter, and activities of each of the undergraduate council representatives.
