Last December the Wichita Alumnae Association presented a special memorial scholarship to the widow of one of the Wichita State University football players who died in the tragic Colorado plane crash last fall. Helen Kimmel Wilson of Kappa Chapter, died with her husband Ben Wilson, Wichita State's football coach, in the same crash that took the life of football player, Mal Kimmel.
