Sandra Beebe began as an English teacher, and through dedication and hard work became a self-taught professional artist. Beebe works in oil and typically depicts impressionist still lifes, seascapes, and landscapes. She works in bold colors, and has won multiple awards and juried shows. Beebe has an A. B. and a M. A. in English and she works as an assistant to the vice-principal at Garden Grove High School in California. She is a member of the Long Beach Junior League, a past-president of Kappa Long Beach Alumnae Association, and has completed four years as a recommendations chairman. She also organized the Martha Hunt Gould Scholarship Fund.
