Kappa Artists "Do Their Thing": Mary Ballou Shaw Marohnic


Mary Ballou Shaw Marohnic is a painter, children's illustrator, muralist, lecturer, and teacher. Her subjects include bridges, street scenes, coal mines, hills, rivers, and mills. She was the city of Pittsburgh's artist of the year in 1963, and has also received the Kappa Kappa Gamma alumnae achievement award. She teaches at the Arts and Crafts Center in Pittsburgh.
