Kappa Artists "Do Their Thing": Lucie Cross Dunlap Chandler


Lucie Cross Dunlap Chandler is a fanciful, satirical artist who works with oil, tempera, ink, and watercolor. She began as an illustrator of children's books, and soon graduated to designing sacks, murals, and rag dolls. A classically trained artist, Chandler is best-known for her "Bug prints." Chandler works for the Lexington Junior League and the local Kappas in her area. She is married with three boys in Versailles, Kentucky.
