Two notable doctors, Dr. Marion Hilliard and Dr. F. Marguerite Hill have received the Fraternity's Alumnae Achievement Award. Others honored with the award include the late Dorothy Taylor, an outstanding journalist, Avis Pumphrey, director of Vancouver General Hospital, Anna Speers, nutritionist and only women on the Canadian National Productivity Council, Ruth Davison Reid, dietitian and lecturer,and Gabrielle Sellers Kroeger, foreign service officer. Canadian Kappas have long served in the fraternity government, and are represented within a variety of professional fields.
