Exchanges, June 1886

The Key Editorial Board responds to a compliment paid to The Key in the March issue of the Phi Delta Theta Scroll, but objects to the suggestion in the same publication that a poem published in the Key was "out of place." The Key expresses disappointment in the the Chi Psi Purple and Gold for claiming that "the girls' fraternity journals are too, too fond of poetry." The Kappa Sigma Quarterly's improvement is complimented. The Kappa Alpha Theta is disparaged for its inability to take criticism, and for for its statement that it will no longer publish editorials. The Kappa Alpha Journal is complemented, and its review of the Key is quoted. As per usual the Beta Theta Pi is critiqued for it's self-indulgence and bad poetry.
