President Barbeck presented a check from the Fraternity to Dr. Howard A. Rusk, founder and director of the Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine in New York City, in a special presentation during the Centennial Day Program. Dr. Rusk prompted the beginning of Kappa's Rehabilitation program when he spoke at the 1952 Kappa convention.
