Ladies' Fraternities


This section of the Key includes an excerpt from the Delta Gamma Anchora, a publication of the Delta Gamma Fraternity. The Anchora article provides a detailed summation of the nine ladies' fraternities in existence in 1885, and notes that Kappa Alpha Theta,Kappa Kappa Gamma Fraternity, and Delta Gamma are the most prominent. The dates of founding and number of members in each fraternity are given. The article also includes an editorial note which identifies which types of girls might or might not want to join a fraternity.
