Lambda's lengthy letter reports the initiation of five new members. Lambda has studied Tennyson this term, and enjoyed more literary work than usual. On Friday October 30th, they attended a lecture by Mrs Liverpool entitled, "The Boy of To-Day," after which a formal reception was held. The lecture profits were over $30, which allowed Lambda to donate to the city schools. They note the construction of a new observatory at Butchell College, and list the honors and awards, new locations, and employment of their members.
