Rita True Scrapbook, Front Cover

This 55-page scrapbook was created by Rita True to document her college years, with materials arranged chronologically from her high school graduation through her commencement from Ohio Wesleyan University. It contains newspaper clippings, programs, and other ephemera from campus events, including her initiation into Rho Deuteron Chapter. During her junior year, True married Ted Carleton, and part of the scrapbook includes telegrams between them and ephemera from their honeymoon. In addition, there are several loose items, including anniversary cards and a volume of "The Ohio Wesleyan Log" magazine. The scrapbook features black textured covers, with two leaf patterns embossed in gold on the front. The pages are tied together with a green string.
