Alumnae Association of Long Beach, California Scrapbook, Front Cover


This 21-page scrapbook documents the Long Beach, California Alumnae Association's efforts to organize the 1951 March of Dimes Ball, a event held in collaboration with the Long Beach Chapter of the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis to raise money for polio patients. The scrapbook is predominantly composed of newspaper clippings, but also contains ephemera, correspondence, photographs, and audiovisual material. This scrapbook features a brown leather cover with a tooled design stamped on the cover in black and cream and a string binding.
