Rita True Scrapbook, 1942-1946


This scrapbook was created by Rita True to document her college years, with materials arranged chronologically from her high school graduation through her commencement from Ohio Wesleyan University. It contains newspaper clippings, programs, and other ephemera from campus events, including her initiation into Rho Deuteron Chapter. During her junior year, True married Ted Carleton, and part of the scrapbook includes telegrams between them and ephemera from their honeymoon. In addition, there are several loose items, including anniversary cards and a volume of "The Ohio Wesleyan Log" magazine.
