Kappa Goes Gold-Mining With the '49ers at Long Beach State College Scrapbook, 1949-1960


This scrapbook was created by Margi Willett of the Long Beach Alumnae Association as an incentive for Kappa Kappa Gamma to establish a chapter at Long Beach State College (now California State University, Long Beach). It primarily contains newspaper clippings about the college, founded in 1949, and its growth through the 1950s, as well as other fraternities and sororities active at the school. Several loose documents regarding extension and Long Beach State College are associated with this scrapbook.
