The 1962 Candlelight Banquet featured a keynote address from Dr. Miriam Locke. The program includes the lyrics to the Banquet Song and a brief history of the bi-annual event. The Candlelight Banquet service began in 1935 at the Alpha Province Convention. Grand President Charlotte Ware passed one of her candlesticks to a delegate from the oldest chapter and one to the youngest, symbolizing the eternal flame lighting the way for each generation.
