Jeannette Greever Rustemeyer acted as Toastmistress for the 1968 Candlelight Banquet. The menu featured roast sirloin of beef, and the program features the banquet song and a short history of the bi-annual event. The Candlelight Banquet service began in 1935 at the Alpha Province Convention. Grand President Charlotte Ware passed one of her candlesticks to a delegate from the oldest chapter and one to the youngest, symbolizing the eternal flame lighting the way for each generation.
