Kuhns, Tade Hartsuff


Tade was Kappa's first Grand President. She is remembered for changing the Fraternity's Bylaws to a Grand Council and being a strong voice in the creation of the Fraternity's magazine. While serving as Grand President, she also continued working as President of Mu Chapter. She was the first woman in Western Pennsylvania to be admitted to law school. She spent her time off volunteering for community causes, including relief efforts for victims of the Johnstown Flood, also known as the Great Flood of 1889.
