The Iota letter discusses a prior Halloween party, a series of discussions of "questions of the age" including such topics as Free Trade vs Protective Tariff, and the virtues of aesthetics, and mentions a visit from Mrs. Livermore. In addition, it is noted that the chapter includes 15 students and 11 resident Alumnae. This letter lists Laura Dainty as an Iota, a matter which is soundly rebuked in the Nu Chapter's Letter published in Vol. 1 No. 2 of The Key Publication. The Nus claim Laura Dainty as one of their own.
