Opinion of Unknown on Beta Beta Chapter Fraternity Constitution Report, c. 1898

This is a photocopy of a typed opinion written by an unknown Beta Beta chapter advocate living in Pennsylvania. It is written in first person, speculating on the Beta Beta chapter controversy regarding the fraternity constitution, whether it was published. (The fraternity constitution controversy erupted in August 1898.) Grand President Bertha Richmond is taken to task, that she could have avoided litigation. The Massachusetts bill of complaint is referenced. The author seems to be a legal expert, and attests that in Pennsylvania publishing a constitution as such is called pettiforging.
