Minnie Stewart writes Sarles stating that the first Kappa Kappa Gamma Convention was held in Monmouth in 1871. Minnie Stewart is the only early KKG member who says a convention happened in 1871. None of the other founders or early members of Beta or Gamma ever confirmed this.
