Michel Baumier and Marie-Claude Barthelemy Photograph, 1946-1952


Michel Baumier, who was sent to the summer camp at Malvieres, Haute-Loire, and Marie-Claude Barthelemy, who was sent to Champtretots, Seine et Marne, pose together. From 1946-1952, the Dorothy Canfield Fisher French Relief Project of Kappa Kappa Gamma provided aid to French children affected by World War II. They sponsored summer camps, sent financial aid to schools, and provided food and clothing for the children. This photograph appeared on page 253 of the December 1949 issue of The Key.
