French Children with Suitcases of Clothes Photograph, 1946-1952

Several French children look happy going home with the clothes that have just been issued to them. The children are individually identified on the back of the photograph. From 1946-1952, the Dorothy Canfield Fisher French Relief Project of Kappa Kappa Gamma provided aid to French children affected by World War II. They sponsored summer camps, sent financial aid to schools, and provided food and clothing for the children.
