The yard in front of the Beta Kappa Chapter house is decorated for homecoming with a banner that reads "The Buffalo Ain't Worth a Nickel, but Dad's Worth His Weight in Gold." Beta Kappa won two trophies, one for decorations and one for having the most dads at the university. This photograph was featured on page 163 of the April 1953 issue of The Key.
