The Girl Graduate: Her Own Book, Front Cover

This 192-page scrapbook documents the senior year of Edna Weyrich (Estabrook), a student at Stivers High School in Dayton, Ohio. It contains photographs and ephemera from school events and activities of Vega and the Iodine Society, high school fraternities to which Weyrich belonged. Much of the book is taken up by handwritten notes from Weyrich's friends, classmates, and teachers. Several loose pieces of ephemera are also placed between the pages. Among this loose material is part of a letter on Kappa stationery addressed to Nancy (last name unknown) that explains that this scrapbook belonged to the author's mother. It is not clear whether Edna Weyrich was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma during her college years. The scrapbook features brown leather covers, with "The Girl Graduate: Her Own Book" printed in gold lettering on the front. There is also a design of a book, quill, and scroll drawn in dark brown on the cover.
